During the 2nd quarter we will cover a unit on poetry. There are several components to this assignment, each one earning an individual grade. The culmination of the unit will be a poetry recitation competition. The winners from each class will compete in a school competition. The winner from the school will compete in Tallahassee for a chance to go to Washington DC in April for the national competition.
